UV printer ink break

Failure phenomenon: UV printer in the process of printing patterns, individual nozzles out of ink, resulting in the lack of color on the surface of the print.

Reason analysis: nozzle channel blockage, ink capsule blockage, poor ink quality, nozzle operating voltage is not set properly.

Solution:

1. Use cleaning fluid to flush the nozzle holes, or use ultrasonic cleaning nozzle, unclogging the blocked nozzle;
2. Replace the high-quality ink to avoid the printhead blocked again;
3. Adjust the printhead operating voltage, until the UV printer no longer appear broken ink phenomenon.

Printing process ink drops

Failure phenomenon: UV printing process, the printhead suddenly dripping ink, resulting in ink spots on the screen.

Reason analysis: negative pressure is too low, the ink system leakage, rubber ring dirty, too much ink in the ink cartridge

Solution:

1. Check whether the negative pressure is too low, and adjust to the state of non-dripping ink;
2. Check the articulation of the ink circuit system to see if there is air leakage;
3. Clean the rubber ring and replace the old rubber ring in time to ensure good sealing;
4. Check whether the ink content in the external cartridge is too much.

Roll to roll UV printer print pattern effect is poor

Failure phenomenon: UV printer print screen blurred, color coverage is not aligned or ghosting.

Reason analysis: X-axis guide rail sliding is not smooth, the nozzle and the material distance is too large resulting in inaccurate inkjet drop, strong airflow affects the inkjet drop accuracy, the material is poor ink-absorbing capacity, the printhead is not calibrated.

Solution:

1. Check whether the mechanical moving part of the trolley is smooth, add lubricant as appropriate to ensure normal and smooth mechanical movement;
2. Check the production environment, adjust the air conditioning, fan vents, to avoid strong airflow affect the print quality;
3. Replace the printing material with good ink absorption performance;
4. Re-calibrate the printhead until the print pattern is clear.
