How do I remove air from the ink tubes of a Pet Film Inkjet Printer?

During the use of a Pet Film Inkjet Printer, air entering the ink tubes may affect the stability of the ink supply and cause printing anomalies. The following is a specific method for removing air from the tubes:

01. Preparation

Before operating, you must prepare the machine. Prepare a syringe (it is recommended to select an appropriate size to ensure ease and accuracy). At the same time, turn off the print carriage and disconnect the machine from the power supply. This is to ensure safety during operation and prevent accidents caused by machine operation.

02. Specific Operation Steps

Step 1: Locate the connection to the ink tube and carefully separate the ink tube from the ink cartridge or related components. Be careful not to use excessive force to avoid damaging the connection or tubing.

Step 2: Slowly insert the syringe needle (with an appropriate adapter, if necessary) into one end of the ink tube, ensuring a tight connection to prevent air leaks during operation.

Step 3: Slowly pull the syringe plunger, using the negative pressure generated by the syringe to gradually draw the air from the tube into the syringe. During the pull process, carefully observe the ink tube. When you see the ink begin to flow smoothly and no bubbles appear, the air has been largely removed.

Step 4: While maintaining the syringe’s position, carefully reconnect the ink tube to its original connector, ensuring a secure connection to prevent further air from entering.

03. Precautions

During this operation, be gentle and slow to avoid excessive force that could cause ink spillage or damage the tube. After removing the air, run the DTF printer with powder machine and perform a small test print to see if the print quality returns to normal. This will verify that the air has been completely removed. If the problem persists, recheck the procedure or consider other potential causes.
