During your daily use of a DTF machine for DTF Pet Film Printing , have you ever encountered issues such as grayish prints, nozzle clogging (missing lines), difficulty peeling the film after transfer, or cracking when stretched?
Don’t worry—most of these are merely “minor issues” related to operation or component compatibility. Today, we’d like to share with you the practical, hands-on experience we’ve accumulated over many years!

Q1: Is Your White Ink Separating, Clumping at the Bottom, Causing Grayish Prints, or Clogging the Nozzle?
Troubleshooting:
The white ink was not thoroughly shaken before being poured into the ink cartridge.
The DTF pet film printer for t-shirts has not been turned on or used for printing for an extended period, allowing the ink to sit stagnant in the cartridge for too long.
Solution:
Turn on Daily: Even if you have no orders, it is recommended to print a test pattern daily to keep the ink circulating.
Weekly Nozzle Cleaning: Use a specialized cleaning solution and a non-woven cloth to gently wipe the nozzles in a single direction (remember: never wipe back and forth).
Install a Circulation System: This is especially crucial for the white ink cartridge; pairing it with an ink circulation system can effectively prevent ink sedimentation and solidification.
Q2: Are You Experiencing Missing Lines (Nozzle Clogs), Streaks, Color Omissions, or Even Nozzle Error Messages?
Troubleshooting:
1.The printhead is clogged.
2. The printhead ribbon cable is loose or damaged.
3.The printhead is burnt out (resulting in a complete lack of ink output and an error message).
Solution:
First, Check for Clogging: Flush the printhead with a specialized cleaning solution. If functionality is restored, it was merely a standard clog.
Still Missing Lines After 2–3 Cleanings? It is highly likely not a clog; check if the printhead ribbon cable is loose, then disconnect and reconnect it.
Half or One Full Channel Cannot Be Flushed Out? This indicates poor contact or damage to the ribbon cable.
Nozzle Error / Complete Lack of Ink Output? The printhead may be burnt out; it must be removed to check if the ribbon cable or the small circuit board have also sustained damage.

Q3: Is the Ink Bleeding on the DTF PET Film, or Is the Film Difficult to Peel Off After Transfer?
Troubleshooting:
Ink Bleeding: Poor compatibility between the ink and the PET film (either the ink has low ink-holding capacity, or the film has low ink absorption capacity).
Difficult Film Peeling: Insufficient heat-press time or temperature. Besides, the PET film’s release coating is too tight or the fabric is incompatible.
Solutions:
Ink Bleeding:
Replace the ink (while keeping the same film) → Bleeding stops → The original ink had low ink-holding capacity; simply switching the ink resolves the issue.
Replace the PET film (while keeping the same ink) → Bleeding stops → The original film had low ink absorption capacity; simply switching the film resolves the issue.
Difficult Film Peeling:
First, verify the heat-press parameters: Time = 5 seconds, Temperature = 145°C.
If the parameters are correct but peeling remains difficult: Replace the PET film or replace the fabric.
