Heat Transfer Printing
Heat transfer printing also known as thermal printing, is a type of digital printing that creates personalised and colourful images on clothing, home goods and even commercial products.
The heat press machine is a machine that design to imprint a image or graphic on a substrate, such as a T-shirt, with the application of heat and pressure for a preset period of time.
Heat transfers are printed using a variety of special inks onto a sublimation paper, transfer paper or vinyl film, which then acts as a transfer to another surface such as clothing or mugs.
– Heat press machine
– Inkjet printer with sublimation inks or pigment inks
– Sublimation papers, transfer papers or vinyl film
– Cutting machine
Printing: Screen Printing, High Density Silicone (Rubber) Transfer Printing etc.
Transfer Temperature : 140°C-160°C
Transfer Pressure: 4-6kg
Press Time: 5-15S
Heat transfer printing are widely use for T Shirt, Baby Clothes, Athletic Gear, Swimwear, Sportswear, Uniform, Packing Labels, Underwear, Gloves , Bags, Shoes, Hats, Gifts, Luggage, Toy, Towel Products, Home Textiles etc.
Sublimation Transfer Printing
Sublimation printing is a popular method of printing that transferring a design from sublimation transfer paper onto a piece of fabric or material by using pressure and heat. Changing the solid particles of the ink into a gaseous state, it is an easy and cost-effective way of adding personalization to products that is used by both companies and people at home.
Sublimation paper is made of a special polyester coating on its print area. This special coating keeps the dye ink inside the paper which then transfers to the merchandise when exposed to heat , so it can used to print on shirts, mugs, and other sublimation blanks.
Sublimation ink is specifically designed to be used in a dye sublimation workflow. In which heat and pressure are being used in a way that turns the ink directly into a gas without first liquefying it. The high temperature allows the ink to transfer onto items without migrating, cracking or smudging, as the ink becomes an integral part of the printed product and does not fade or wash off over time.
First, choose a design you want, then use a sublimation printer to print it out onto the special sublimation paper. after using a heat press to heat transfer your design onto the fabric or mugs.
Sublimation printing offers more room for creativity and unique designs that utilize full color printing. The field of what can be printed on is also very very fast, sublimation printing also with a wide range usage.
Sublimation printing is best used with polyester materials. It can be used with a range of materials that have a specialist polymer coating, such as those found on mugs, mouse pads, coasters, and more. In some cases, it is also possible to use sublimation on glass, but it needs to be normal glass that has been treated and prepared correctly with a specialist coating.
DTG Printing
DTG also called Direct to Garment T-Shirt printing or digital T-Shirt printing is the process of printing full-colour images onto garments. DTG can be used on light or dark colored garments. Using the latest printing technology and top quality DTG machines, we can print full-colour images onto a wide range of T-Shirts, polo shirts, hoodies and other clothing.
DTG printing operate on the same basic principles as inkjet printers. These printers use specialized print heads to apply water-based ink to fabrics. Since this type of ink only applies well to natural fibers, DTG printing is perfectly matched with fabrics like bamboo, cotton, and hemp.
- No setup fees or minimum order quantities
- Can print full-colour images to a wide range of clothing
- Produces high-quality prints within a few hours of receiving the order
- Can be used on both light and dark coloured garments
- Perfect for fashion, promotional T-Shirts
For sure, the DTG Printing quality is one of a kind. This is because of the inkjet technology that is used which helps the fabric absorb the ink properly and the press heating adheres the ink to the fabric. This enhances the quality of the final finished product.
As we see that DTG Prints are extremely durable. The inkjet technology helps the cotton fabric to absorb the ink. This makes sure that no ink is spilled. Direct-to-garment prints last for many years because of how the design gets attached to the interwoven threads of cotton in the garment.
As we all know that both of them are very different in terms of procedure, but DTG Printing is more efficient, incurs less waste, is much easier, faster and capable of utilizing millions of colors. DTG Printing is more cost-effective with a one-time investment benefit. Using the DTG printing mechanism, textile waste generation can be reduced as well.
DTG printing can only be printed on cotton, but DTF printing can be printed on a wide range of fabrics. If you are targeting a specific clientele with limited fabrics, DTG can be a very good choice. But in case you want the flexibility to print on any fabric or garment then DTF can be a better choice
DTF Printing
DTF printing also called Direct to Film Printing is a process that transfers prints onto fabric or other substrates using a heat-press machine. the Printer DTF method process is as simple in its working as its name suggests print on a film and directly transfer it onto fabric can work on polyester, cotton, silk, or synthetic fibers.
These printers are often called DTF Printers. These printers are work with 6 colors C,M,Y,K+W This provides the convenience of operation as the CMYK DTF inks can go into the standard CMYK tanks whereas the LC and LM tanks of the printer can be filled with White DTF inks. Dtf printer have many size like A3, 42cm, 60cm, also the 1.2m, you can choose depand on your business.
- Works with almost all types of fabrics
- Does not require pre-treatment
- The Fabrics thus designed exhibit good wash characteristics.
- The fabric has a very slight hand feel the touch
- The process is faster and less tedious than DTG printing
The DTF printer technology can allow you to print easily on cotton, polyester, synthetic, or silk without any trouble. Plus, DTF printers can work on both dark and white fabric without any need to press on expensive A & B paper.
Direct to Film Printing (Basic Steps)
Step 1 – Print on Film
Step 2 – Powdering
Step 3 – Melting the powder
Step 4 – Pre-pressing
Step 5 – Transfer
Step 6 – Cold Peel
- DTF Printer (desktop printers,or roller one all ok)
- RIP program(SAI FLEXI, Acrorip, MainTop )
- PET film (sheets and rolls )
- DTF powder(Hot melt adhesive powder)
- DTF inks(C, M, Y, K, W)
- Heat transfer press
UV Printing
UV printing is a unique method of digital printing that involves the use of ultraviolet (UV) light to dry or cure ink, adhesives or coatings almost as soon as it’s hit the paper, or aluminium, foam board or acrylic – in fact, as long as it fits in the printer, the technique can be used to print on almost anything.
As we know that UV printing can be used to print on a wide range of materials and products. In fact, this printing method can be used to print on almost any material excluding waterproofed and oil surfaced materials. Here are just some of the materials that can be used in UV printing: acrylic, paper, wood, glass, canvas, aluminium, ceramic, leather, also the metal.
Digital UV printing means print heads are able to distribute perfectly formed spherical dots of ink to create very fine print quality and extraordinary layered finishes. This layering of ink provides unrivalled tactile effects like raised lettering, droplets or leather grain finishes.
Flatbed UV Printer
Flatbed UV printers are characterized by their flat surface, upon which material is placed to be printed.
Roll to Roll UV Printer
Roll-to-roll printers avoid forming smudges or footprints through the use of wide-sized rollers.
Rotary UV Printing
Rotary UV printers are specifically engineered with technology to work with cylindrical shapes.
- The Printing Products
The products you intend to print on are key determiners when looking at the size of UV printers to buy.
- The Print Head Size
The UV printers feature different print head types and sizes that determine the image quality you achieve.
- The Operating Power
You can find various UV printers designed with different power capabilities, ranging between 220 and 380 volts.
- Print on most materials
- Faster operations, higher productivity
- Significant energy savings
- Vibrant finish
- Greener
