  1. Ink clogs the nozzle

Nozzle clogging is one of the most common problems with printing ink, especially when using non-original ink or inferior ink. Solid particles or chemical reactions in the ink may cause the nozzle to clog, affecting the print quality.

Solution (1) Use the printer’s built-in “nozzle cleaning” function; (2) Gently wipe the nozzle area with a wet non-woven cloth; (3) Replace with high-quality ink and avoid using inferior or incompatible ink.

  1. Ink leakage or overflow

Ink leakage is a common problem for inkjet printer users, especially when replacing ink cartridges or adding ink. Improper operation may cause ink overflow.

Solution (1) Follow the product instructions to operate correctly and avoid accidentally touching the nozzle; (2) Avoid adding ink too quickly or too much to reduce the generation of bubbles; (3) Use original or high-quality third-party ink to reduce ink leakage caused by ink quality problems.

  1. Decreased print quality

Users have reported that print quality has deteriorated, such as inaccurate colors and intermittent lines. This may be due to ink quality problems or nozzle blockage.

Solution (1) Clean the print head; (2) Check whether the ink is expired or of poor quality, and replace the ink if necessary; (3) Adjust the printer’s print quality settings.

  1. Digital printing inks cartridge chip failure

Modern ink cartridges are equipped with smart chips to monitor ink levels, but chip (if imported) failure may cause the printer to be unable to recognize the ink cartridge.

Solution (1) Reinstall the ink cartridge and ensure that the chip is in normal contact; (2) If the problem persists, try replacing the ink cartridge chip; (3) Some printers support manual chip reset function.

  1. Environmental protection and sustainability issues

As environmental awareness increases, users have higher requirements for the environmental performance of ink. Traditional inks may contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are harmful to the environment and health.

Solutions

(1) Choose low-VOC or bio-based inks to reduce environmental pollution; (2) Use recyclable ink cartridges to support environmental protection.

  1. The dye sublimation textile printer frequently prompts “low ink”

Even if the ink cartridge is full of ink, the printer still prompts “low ink”. This may be due to an error in the printer’s built-in ink level counter.

Solutions

(1) Manually reset the printer’s ink level detection system;

(2) Update the printer driver to ensure that it can accurately identify the ink cartridge status.
