In recent years, the development of DTF Printing technology and control technology has greatly improved the speed, reliability, and cost performance of DTF printers.
DTF printing can turn the virtual pattern on the network into a real pattern. And it has the characteristics of low cost, small batch, fast response, high quality, and green environmental protection. The DTF printer has an absolute advantage compared with traditional production.
So what is the workflow of DTF printing?
Firstly, we need to print the pattern that needs to be hot stamped with DTF Printing.
Of course, it is best to process the picture and print the picture into a transparent bottom document. If the resolution of the original image is too low, then we need to use AI, CDR, and other mapping software to draw through strokes. The resolution is okay, directly use PSD to remove the background with the magic wand tool. We should note that this transparency should be fully transparent.
This means that the outline of the image must be clear at all times. In terms of typesetting, the most common printing film width on the market is 60 cm. And the commonly used typesetting software is AI or CDR, which can directly typeset in PSD. You can arrange one kind of picture or mix it with other pictures. After arranging the pictures, export them to a png image or PSD image with a transparent background. Because you want to print out, I recommended selecting CMYK mode when drawing, but png files can only be in RGB mode, and converting between the two will cause color loss.
Next
Therefore, try to use AI to save CMYK mode PSD files directly. The next focus is to use PSD software to add white ink channels to the picture. Use PSD to open the typeset transparent bottom file. Hold down the Ctrl key and click the layer panel graphic thumbnail to get a selection of all graphics. The Pen Tool, Lasso Tool, etc. can also obtain this selection. Then select Modify under the menu to expand, fill in 1 or 2 in the pop-up interface, and expand the selection a little bit.
Then select New Spot Color Panel in the upper-left corner of the channel panel. Open the TIF file with Montane, adjust the print parameters, and output the print file. During the printing process, the printer first prints a color map on the special release pet film and then prints a layer of white ink on the color map.
The second step is to powder, shake, dry, and cure through DTF printing.
Sprinkle a layer of hot melt powder on top of the white ink, after the white ink will be glued with a layer of hot melt powder, the blank space should be shaken clean. The machine will have a jittering action, so some people call this hot painting process called shaking powder hot painting.
Finally, bake the powder in the oven at a temperature of about 110 degrees.
Next, the printed pattern and garment are placed on a press through a pressing machine.
First, cut the hot stamping painting, and adjust the thermostat and timer of the pressing machine. The next step is to place the garment on the silicone board. Then lay the hot drawing flat on the garment, and press down firmly on the handle until completely closing it. When the press buzzer sounds, lift the handle back into place.
The last step tears off the pet film, press the ironing to finish, and show the hot painting effect.
If it is a cold tear, after cooling, tear off the pet film, if it is hot tearing, you need to tear off the pet film immediately.
At this point, the hot stamping process is completely over, and you can see that the dtf operation is effortless. One person can do all the processes alone. DTF film printing from picture production to hot painting finished products is completed by the dtf film printer. It can operate multiple pieces of equipment by one person, with no need to order quantity requirements to achieve a minimum order, proofing and large goods speed, low cost, bright color, fastness to wash level 3 or above, completely subvert the various traditional printing cumbersome processes, to achieve low cost, high efficiency, and low loss and other advantages.
