Why Can’t the Powder on the DTF Film Be Completely Shaken Off?

During the working process of DTF machine, there will be a process of shaking off the powder. Firstly, the hot melt powder is evenly spread on the DTF film transfer pattern, then the excess hot melt powder is shaken off, and finally, the pattern with hot melt powder is dried. So if the powder on the dtf film can not be completely shaken off. What are the reasons?

1. Ink problem

If the white ink is too thin and the moisture is high, it is easy to cause bleeding (the oil and water of the white ink seeps out of the edge of the pattern), resulting in too much hot melt powder sticking to the edge of the pattern. This time you can observe: if there is water stains around the printed pattern before powder coating, you can be sure that it is an ink problem.

Solution: change the higher quality of DTF transfer ink

2. DTF transfer film quality problems

Under the same conditions of other consumables and the same production environment, it is very likely that the quality of DTF film is poor or unqualified, or the compatibility between DTF film and ink is not good enough.

Solution: Replace the film with a more suitable one to solve the problem.

3. Hot melt powder problem

If the hot melt powder is damp, it will stick together to form a ball, and the edge of the pattern will appear obvious adhesive edge.

Solution: The hot melt powder needs to be moisture-proof, or bake the wet powder for a period of time.

4. Humidity problem

Excessive air humidity caused by weather conditions can cause white ink to dry slowly. If the white ink is too wet, too much hot melt powder will stick to the edge of the pattern forming powder edges and glue edges.

Solution: Choose a DTF machine equipped with a drying kit.

It should be noted that when the air humidity is too high, dehumidification is required to protect the machine.

5. Static electricity problem

If the machine can not ground, the static electricity on the DTF film will be bigger when the weather is dry. And the sticky powder problem will easily occur.

Solution: Connect the machine grounding wire can improve the problem.

6. DTF transfer Machine problem

If there is still unclean hot melt powder on the DTF film after eliminating the above factors. So the quality of the DTF machine may not be up to standard.
