Recently, a customer asked why the Pet Film T-shirt Printer warps after hot stamping. What should I do if warping occurs? Today, SUBLICOOL Digital DTF Printing Machine Manufacturer will share with you!
The reasons for DTF printing warping are as follows: material problems, inappropriate hot stamping temperature, insufficient hot stamping time, and equipment problems.

1. Material problems:
DTF printing is hot stamping on the surface of the fabric. The material of some fabrics is not suitable for hot stamping, such as polyester fiber. The hot stamping process will cause the fabric to deform or shrink, resulting in warping.
2. Inappropriate hot stamping temperature:
During printing, hot stamping temperature that is too high or too low will cause warping. If the temperature is too high, the fabric will deform too much; if the temperature is too low, the hot stamping adhesive is not sticky enough and cannot be firmly bonded.
3. Insufficient hot stamping time:
When hot stamping during printing, insufficient hot stamping time will cause the hot melt powder to not completely melt and penetrate into the fabric fiber, and the transfer product cannot be firmly fixed, causing warping.

4. DTF printing machines Equipment problems:
DTF printing machines with inaccurate temperature control, uneven pressure. And uneven hot heads will cause uneven heat transfer, which will lead to warping. To avoid warping, when selecting fabrics and hot stamping patterns, you should consider the suitability of the material and ensure that the appropriate hot stamping temperature and time are used.
In addition, using reliable quality DTF printing equipment and correct operating methods can also help reduce the occurrence of warping. In actual operation, it is best to test print a small piece of fabric first to determine the best hot stamping parameters. If warping is found after hot stamping, repeat the hot stamping once to achieve the desired effect.
